DESCRIPTION:Welcome!\n \nAs part of our long-term planning process\, SNOL
AB provides a community-wide review of potential future projects intereste
d in access to the underground laboratory. The Future Projects Workshop (F
PW) engage with collaborations that have an interest in using any space un
derground\, including any of the large-scale experimental areas within SNO
LAB\, over the next five to ten years are invited to present their capabil
 ities\, R&D projects\, status\, plans\, and infrastructure requirements.
\n \nAdditionally\, the workshop will briefly review SNOLAB’s new 15-Ye
ar Plan framework introduced in the 2024 Canadian Federal Budget to suppor
t Major Research Infrastructures. (See 15-Yr Plan tab for further details)

B hosts a biannual Future Projects Workshop (FPW) with the goal of encoura
ging future project stakeholders to present ideas\, concepts\, and needs f
or experiments or programs that could one day be hosted at SNOLAB. The 202
5 FPW was held in the larger context of a 15-year planning exercise reques
ted by the Canada Foundation for Innovation. This report collects input fr
om the community\, including both contributions to the workshop and contri
butions that could not be scheduled in the workshop but nonetheless are im
 portant to the community.\n \nThe Report Writing Process\nFor posterity's
sake\, here is the guidance provided to write the report.\nhttps://indico
 .snolab.ca/event/24/page/93-report-writing-guidance\n \nThe community is
requested to write a report on the material presented at the workshop and
the outcome of discussions at the workshop. We understand that not all mat
erial that is presented can be put into the report (e.g. because it is not
published by the authors yet). However\, where possible we ask every spea
ker to provide at least a "micro proceeding". This involves writing a mini
mal amount of information into the report:\n \n\n1-2 paragraphs summarizi
ng the key ideas\, concepts\, and themes from the material presented.\nAbo
ut five bullets summarizing the key take-aways from the presentation and a
ny important items that arose during discussions (either during dedicated
discussion time or during breaks/lunches).\n\nThe goal is to capture the r
ange of material presented at the workshop and leave information for the c
ommunity to move ideas forward after the workshop. This report will be sub
mitted to the arXiv by the corresponding author\, who will be from the com
munity. \nIf you wish to contribute\, you will need access to the Overlea
f document where this is being written. Please email Stephen Sekula (steph
en.sekula@snolab.ca) and request access. The Workshop Report document is l
inked from the menu on the left side of the Indico main page.\n\nhttps://i
