ALL PRESENTERS are requested to upload an electronic copy of their talk / poster in PDF format prior to their presentations at your scheduled session. If you have trouble uploading the presentation, please email a PDF copy to Erica Brunelle (Erica.Brunelle@snolab.ca).
By participating in the Project Management Conference and submitting your presentation, you agree to publish the content of your presentation on the public Indico Website.
Details for Presentation Submissions
The Consortium welcomes presenters to submit a short abstract, less than 100 words, outlining the topic for their presentation or poster. These abstracts will be reviewed by the committee to establish the conference structures. Oral presentations should be 10 minutes in duration and there will be an additional 10 minutes available for discussions. Posters should be 48” wide x 36” tall (122 cm x 92 cm). Refer to more information below. Authors are encouraged to flag their proposals as an oral or poster presentation. The timeline for prospective presenters is below:
Abstract Submission Due: February 24th, 2025 DEADLINE EXTENDED TO: Thursday March 6th, 2025
Selection of Abstracts Results: March 21st, 2025
(Authors will be notified by email as to whether their abstracts have been accepted)
FInal Poster Due: April 28th, 2025
(SNOLAB must have ample time to print and hang posters ahead of time)
Final Presentation Due: May 2nd, 2025
Details for Poster Submissions
Size: Landscape posters: 48” wide x 36” tall (122 cm x 92 cm) and contain 3-4 columns of content
Title: 100-120 pt, Authors: 60-90 pt, Institution: 40-60 pt
· Section titles: 40-60 pt
· Body text: at least 28 pt, over 32 pt is ideal
· References & Acknowledgments can be as small as 18 pt
Accessibility
· Consider the colors you use
· Use color contract tool to check for color blindness accessibility
· Do not use images as the background for text blocks
· Ensure images are high resolution
Poster should contain the following:
1. Project Title
2. Objectives/Abstract
3. Project scope
4. Stakeholders – Section could cover getting approval, executing, partners & collaborators or challenges, methods and/or implementation of projects
5. Communication strategies, opportunities and/or outcome
6. Lessons learned/Conclusion
NOTE: It is important you send high quality versions of posters, therefore SNOLAB can effectively print and hang for optimum display.
