Discover Sudbury

Tours and Activities
In Sudbury on Sunday?
For those who will be in Sudbury on Sunday, September 28th, a self-guided tour of Science North has been arranged from 10am to 1pm. Science North is the largest science centre in Canada featuring 4 floors of hands-on exhibits. Bus service will be organized to and from the Science centre departing from the Raddison Hotel at 9:45am.
Underground Tour on Monday
If you have registered for the SNOLAB underground tour on Monday, September 29th, you should have received an email with information about that tour experience.
Alternative Activity on Tuesday
For those not attending the ENTENTE workshop, we have arranged a guided tour of the Dynamic Earth in Sudbury from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday, September 30th. Dynamic Earth is an interactive earth sciences museum. This visit will include an underground tour experience and a screening of the Jane Goodall documentary, Planting Hope. Bus service will be organized to and from the Science centre departing from the Raddison hotel at 9:45am.
Guided Mural Tour on Thursday
On Thursday, October 2nd from 1:15pm to 2:00pm a guided mural tour has been arranged with We Live Up Here Urban Arts that will depart from the lobby of the conference venue. This guided walking tour will be 45 minutes in length and participants will visit massive works and explore back alleys to see an array of murals by local and international artists.

Public Lecture
The public lecture for NNN will be on Wednesday, October 1st at 8pm at the Refettorio, an open-air outdoor venue that is a 2 minute walk from Place des Arts.
Interested in going? You can view more information and reserve your ticket here: https://shorturl.at/419zb . NNN25 participants are not required to be at this event --- it is intended for the general public --- but you are welcome to attend if you like.
If you wish to attend, please do register for a seat at the event, as seating is limited.

Program Notes
We have a very full scientific program, and we encourage you to participate in the posters and talks as much as possible. We also encourage you to take time with your colleagues to develop new ideas that could change the field in important ways. There will be ample places to sit and talk during the conference.
If you need a break or some advice about interesting things to do around the venue, please just chat with any organizers during the event. We are happy to help!
